Chairman

Founder and Chairman of Cartwright, Ian Cartwright, has been steering the business since its inception in 1986.

When not in the office, Ian is found on the golf course working on his handicap.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Robert joined Cartwright in 1992, he has a vast knowledge of pensions and most other subjects as well.

He is our quiz teams' secret weapon, especially his knowledge of history and politics.

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Robin joined Cartwright in 1997 and leads on all operational matters.

He can often be found working on his latest canvas with paintbrush in hand.

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

Tony has more than 40 years experience in the employee benefits industry and joined the Board of Directors at Cartwright in 2017.

He is a West Ham fan and often attends matches with two of his sons, he has given up trying to get his other son and daughter to go!

DIRECTOR OF INVESTMENT CONSULTING

Sam has been consulting on pensions and investment for over 20 years.

When he isn't helping trustees to invest better, he can be found taking time out with his three young kids or honing his skills on the pool table.

DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION

Julie is living proof that we really can and do recruit the best.

When not leading the way for our administration teams, she has a keen interest in soul music and attends as many events as she can in her free time.

SENIOR INVESTMENT CONSULTANT

Adam has 14 years industry experience and advises DB schemes on how to get the most out of their investment portfolios.

He has a young son he runs around after at home and when he gets the chance he loves watching and playing sports.

SENIOR INVESTMENT CONSULTANT

Chris has experience as a Scheme Actuary, plan sponsor and, for 20 years, has advised pension schemes on all aspects of investment policy.

A keen linguist, he’s currently studying for a languages degree with the OU. Esto es bueno!

HEAD OF PLATFORM AND FUND RESEARCH

Tom has been advising on investment strategy, funding level triggers, bulk annuity transactions and portfolio structuring for almost 20 years.

Outside of work Tom enjoys dancing forró, playing football and hiking.

SENIOR INVESTMENT CONSULTANT

As a qualified actuary, Martin transferred to the investment arena in 2012. With experience in investment consultancy and fiduciary management, Martin manages our team of analysts.

Outside of work Martin has a young family and enjoys playing golf.

ACCOUNTS AND PAYROLL MANAGER

Sarah has more than 20 years experience in accounting.

When not in the office, Sarah can normally be found in her garden or behind her camera, shooting wildlife and landscapes.

HEAD OF IT AND SECURITY

A highly respected figure within the pensions systems world, Mark is so dedicated to IT and information security he rarely finds time to even visit the barbers.
